Twilight actress Nikki Reed once again proves celebrities are just like us- they love to talk at length about the details of their weddings and such on social media sites!
In addition to a formal statement, Reed took to Twitter to discuss her feelings about her recent wedding, an event she dubs “most magical day of [her] life…” Reed wed Paul McDonald in Malibu Sunday, with about 100 people present. After the wedding- which was very intimate by Hollywood standards- the couple said in a statement :
“We couldn’t be happier! [We were] surrounded by our family and friends. We’re so glad this day has come!”
McDonald also commented on the nuptials, hitting Twitter to enthuse:
“Yesterday was the most amazing day of my life. Everything was perfect. I’m officially a MARRIED MAN! Woohoo!”
The couple have been dating for months- starting in April- and McDonald was excited about Reed from the start. Speaking to MTV news back when they first hooked up, he dished on his feelings for the Twilight star:
“She’s amazing. It’s kind of one of those things you don’t expect. Like, last year I never would have thought I’d be getting married. She’s amazing. She’s the perfect girl. We fit each other. When you know, you know, and she’s the one.”
McDonald took quite a hand in planning the festivities as well, Reed said. She commented before the wedding:
“He’s doing a lot of it, he is. He’s, like, taking control [of the wedding planning.] He sits with his computer in between songs and is kind of on a roll with everything.”
