The latest games in the Pokémon series, Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver , have been in stores here for two and a half months, but Nintendo’s Pokémon factory stops for no man, woman, or pocket-sized monster.
That’s right, we’re getting more Pokémon soon. As Pokémon is beyond doubt my ultimate guilty pleasure game series, I’m rather pleased with that. Yes, I’m 30.
Pokémon White Version and Black Version will launch for Nintendo DS this September in Japan, and spring 2011 in North America and the UK. As Gamasutra points out, it’s likely these will be the last Pokémon releases before Nintendo’s 3DS handheld releases (it’s due to be released before the end of March 2011 ).
After that, it’ll probably be a case of 3D Pokémon getting all up in your grill on the 3DS.
