The New York Giants remained winless Sunday, falling 31-7 to the Kansas City Chiefs.
No one can quite figure out what the problem is with the Giants. Eli Manning, who has two Super Bowl MVPs to his name, has thrown a league high nine interceptions. Manning has always thrown a lot of interceptions, but never in this capacity.
More worrisome is the New York Giants defense, which as allowed 69 points over the last two games. This is a team that built their dynasty on defense, now they can’t even force punts.
The offense is just as disappointing, only scoring once in the last two games. Eli Manning isn’t the only problem, the Giant’s running backs have been fumble machines, and the offensive line has played pedestrian at best.
At the end of the day, the New York Giants lost to the Kansas City Chiefs, and no one should be surprised.
With the victory, Kanas City starts the season a perfect 4-0, the first time the Chiefs have been this hot out of the gate since 2003. They finished that season 13-3, and lost to the Indianapolis Colts in the divisional round of the playoffs.
Alex Smith continued to play winning football. He finished the day 24 of 41 through the air with three touchdowns and two interceptions. Tight end Sean McGrath continued to be his favorite target, with 64 yards receiving and one touchdown.

The New York Giants need to figure out what is wrong, or they will be looking at the number one pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.
