Footage of the next Xbox 360 dashboard update leaked last week , but pretty soon you’ll be able to try out the new update for really reals . More importantly, you’ll get to try it (probably) before anyone else you know.
That’s because Microsoft is currently asking people to sign up to test its new baby before it launches. You can be one such guinea pig by going HERE and entering a crapload of personal details. Gold users will get priority, however, so I wouldn’t bother if you’re a Silver member.
Microsoft’s online voicebox Major Nelson broke news of the testing procress today, revealing that a few thousand lucky users will be selected to try out some of the new features in the update, including ESPN on Xbox Live, Netflix search, the new Xbox LIVE dashboard, and a bunch of new Zune features.
As for the rest of us, we’ll just have to wait for the update to go live later this year.
