A ‘ Public Enemies Trailer ‘ starring Johnny Depp has been released online. The Trailer is an assault scene from the movie, due out on July 1st. The movie, Public Enemies, is based on the book ‘Public Enemies: America’s Greatest Crime Wave and the birth of the FBI’ .
In the movie, Johnny Depp plays a gangster from the 1930s, John Dillinger. He is relentlessly persued by FBI agent Melvin Pervis, played by Christian Bale.

Edgar Hoover made Dillinger America’s first Public Enemy Number One and sent in Melvin Purvis, the dashing “Clark Gable of the FBI.” However, Dillinger and his gang outwitted and outgunned Purvis’ men in wild chases and shootouts. Only after importing a crew of Western ex-lawmen (newly baptized as agents) and orchestrating epic betrayals — from the infamous “Lady in Red” to the Chicago crime boss Frank Nitti — were Purvis, the FBI and their new crew of gunfighters able to close in on Dillinger.
