MTV Couple Hasn’t Welcomed Baby Yet? Catelynn and Tyler Keep Fans Guessing

MTV couple Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra, most famous for being on the hit show Teen Mom, haven’t welcomed their baby girl just yet. Although Tyler revealed on Thursday that his fiancé was already dilated and beginning to efface, a new photo posted by the former teen dad reveals that the baby hasn’t made her appearance just yet.

The black and white photo shows Catelynn standing near a window, cradling her baby bump. Although he could have used several hashtags to caption the photo, he simply wrote, “#MamaBear #LoveMyGirls.”

Of course, after Tyler posted that Catelynn was dilated two centimeters dilated and 40 percent effaced, fans started wondering if the MTV couple would soon welcome their baby girl into the world. Interestingly, a woman can begin to experience dilation and begin to efface nearly a month before she goes into active labor. It isn’t uncommon for some women to sit at two or three centimeters of dilation for a few weeks before birth! While this probably isn’t the news that fans of the MTV couple wanted to hear, they only have a few more weeks to wait before Catelynn and Tyler’s baby is welcomed into the world.

Hollywood Life speculates that the photo of a very pregnant Catelynn Lowell may have been posted to throw people off from what is really going on in their lives. With Teen Mom set to come back for another season, the MTV couple will likely want to announce the birth of the daughter officially and not via social networking. While it seems logical that they may want to announce the arrival of their daughter through other means, it doesn’t seem that is what they are doing just yet.

Cate’s due date is still roughly five weeks away meaning that, if she were to go into labor, the baby would be born premature. She definitely wants to keep her baby girl in for as long as possible to ensure that she is born very healthy. It isn’t simply the fact that her due date is still a few weeks away that gives about the pregnancy status, though. Catelynn has also been posting updates on Twitter which seem to suggest she is still very much pregnant.

“Omg these restless legs are REALLY starting to drive me up a wall! Can’t wait till they are gone FOREVER!”

Restless legs syndrome is common during the last few months of pregnancy, and can drive any expecting mother crazy. The symptoms that people experience with the syndrome include feeling the need to move their legs to relieve uncomfortable sensations in their legs. Lucky for Catelynn, the RLS will likely go away when she finally does give birth or shortly after.

The MTV couple has tried their best to keep big details of the pregnancy quiet, including the name that they have picked for their baby girl. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the name will include a “v” which was confirmed by Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra. However, after their baby shower, rumors emerged that they had picked the name “Nova” for their daughter which does contain the letter “v.”
