No one likes to be that chick and Mrs. Eddie Cibrian, model Brandi Glanville, complained to press that LeAnn Rimes is stalking her better half. Ouch.
Back in March, Us Weekly outed the alleged clandestine couple as they snuck around on the set of Lifetime Movie “Northern Lights.” According to Brandi, LeAnn- herself a married woman- can’t stay away from Eddie, who reportedly had to change his number to dodge her incessant calls and texts. Mrs. Cibrian claims:
“LeAnn is a stalker. She refuses to leave us alone – it is shameful and scary. People are going to say it takes two to tango and I get that, but at some point LeAnn needs to stop asking him to dance. “
But she didn’t stop there. In addition to her insinuation that LeAnn’s affections are misguided and not reciprocated, Brandi told Us Weekly that LeAnn’s cheating heart is really just a desperate ploy to gain headlines, saying:
“LeAnn is so desperate for fame she has left her self-respect in the gutter and doesn’t care who she hurts to get what she wants. She’s hurting my family and messing with the wrong mom. I’m a happy wife fighting for what I have.”
This afternoon, a representative for LeAnn Rimes shot back at the troubled couple in a statement, accusing them of wanting attention and press. (Being as I’d never heard of Brandi Glanville before this morning, I’d say they were pretty successful, there.) Calling the accusations “incredibly defamatory”, the rep went on to say:
“Eddie and Brandi are both on the record on this and LeAnn has kept quiet, so what does that tell you about who is after fame and press?”
LeAnn’s rep goes on to play the “high road” card, telling reporters:
“…while there are always two sides to every story, LeAnn continues to remain above the fray and chooses not to play this out in the press.”
