A three-year-old girl’s mom is suspected of carrying out a startling “ritual murder” on her child. Residents of Ukraine have responded with horror to the girl’s horrific death. Before the fatal event, Yuliia Doloshytska, 32, a graphic designer and artist, had picked up her child from nursery.
“Alyna Petryv, a girl, was forced to wear a white dress, a wreath, [and] forced to read various words from rituals….to drive out evil spirits,” according to reports. Neighbors in Kalush, in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, claim that her mother filmed this “sacrifice”. Police were summoned by residents who claimed to have heard screaming during the night.

Officers discovered the girl had been “drowned in the bath” when they were able to enter the residence in the morning. There were other reports that the toddler had been “stabbed.” According to reports, the police had obtained the key from the landlord rather than smashing down the door. Officers said that the mother was at the location when the police arrived.
“She did not provide any explanation,” said a police statement. “In the course of the initial check, law enforcement officers recovered elaborate evidence that indicates the 32-year-old woman’s involvement in premeditated murder.”

The youngster and the divorced mother spent a portion of the conflict in the Czech Republic. According to reports, she only returned to Ukraine six weeks ago. “She lived alone in a rented apartment with the child,” the statement continues. Police have now launched a murder inquiry. The jailed woman has been told she is suspected of killing Alyna. According to reports, the child’s Ukrainian father is still residing in the Czech Republic. Shocked family members and neighbors attended her church funeral.
Local publication Kalush Informator reported: “People shaken by this tragedy, brought children’s toys in addition to wreaths and flowers.” One eulogy said: “What a beautiful girl, what a HORROR! How is this possible?”
