Miranda Lambert and Anderson East are getting more and more open with their relationship.
Miranda Lambert began dating East in late December after splitting from former husband Blake Shelton months prior. However, while Us Weekly announced Miranda Lambert’s relationship news on December 28, it wasn’t until January when she officially confirmed the news on her Instagram page with a cuddly photo of them together.
Since then, Miranda Lambert and East had been fairly secretive about their romance, only sharing a couple of social media posts and appearing together publicly a number of times. However, in early April, that seemed to change.

On April 3, Miranda Lambert took East to the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, and while there, the couple walked the red carpet together. Then, weeks later, Miranda Lambert and East joined singer Chris Stapleton and his wife on stage in Los Angeles where they sang “My Girl.” Also during the concert, as revealed by OK! Magazine on April 29, Miranda Lambert was caught “making out” with East backstage.
While Miranda Lambert and East have been spending a lot of time together lately despite their busy touring schedules, East was not present earlier this week when the 32-year-old country singer hit the red carpet at the 2016 iHeartCountry Festival in Austin, Texas.
On May 2, Us Weekly revealed both East and Miranda Lambert’s ex-husband did not attend the event. Instead, Shelton was in Los Angeles attending the Radio Disney Music Awards with his new girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, who received the Hero Award at the event.

As for what’s next for Miranda Lambert and East, the couple has not revealed any plans to get married thus far, but engagement and wedding rumors continue to swirl.
“They’ve discussed taking their relationship to the next level and for both of them, that means one thing: marriage,” a source told Life & Style in February, via Hollywood Life .
The magazine source also claimed Miranda Lambert was hoping to beat her ex-husband, Shelton, and his new flame, Stefani, to the altar. Just as Miranda Lambert and her man have faced rumors of their next potential step, so have Shelton and Stefani. And when it comes to Miranda Lambert’s feelings about her ex’s highly publicized romance, the source claims she wants to get revenge.
“[Miranda Lambert] is determined to beat Gwen to the altar,” the magazine source explained. “Miranda will never forgive Gwen for having such a public romance with Blake so soon after their divorce. Beating Gwen to the altar is a way for her to have the last laugh.”
Miranda Lambert and Shelton were married for four years before their July 2015 split and share no children together. However, when it comes to her future with East, a source claims Miranda Lambert is very much on board with the idea of starting a family.
“They both have discussed wanting kids one day,” a source told E! News of the couple’s future in February. “When they are both not on tour, they are with each other. They video chat or text and keep connected every day.”
Miranda Lambert’s boyfriend also appreciates her love for animals.
“Anderson loves all 15 of Miranda’s animals,” the insider shared. “They both are very into helping make a difference. [Miranda Lambert] is definitely in love with Anderson.”
“[Miranda Lambert] is in the best place of her life now and looking forward to the future!” the source added.
