Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were spotted together this weekend, another rare public appearance of the duo after they rekindled their engagement. The duo was in Los Angeles for the grand opening of the first solo photography exhibition of their pal Vijat Mohindra.

Also in attendance at the arts gallery alongside Cyrus and Hemsworth were Katy Weaver, Wayne Coyne and Amazon Ashley. If anyone doubted if Cyrus and Hemsworth had truly renewed their love, their selfies at the Museum at Retail Space Gallery in Los Angeles told it all. Cyrus captioned one of the photos she shared on social media with the words,”So proud of my bad a** mega photographer/friend @vijatm on his first solo gallery exhibition!”

Cyrus, 23, sported a bright yellow mini dress, knee-high white boots and added a yellow happy face purse. Hemsworth, 26, on the other hand tried to keep it casual with a multicolor street jacket, black jeans and black baseball cap. The duo was at the photo exhibition to show support for Mohindra, and they seemed to enjoy every moment of their time at the event.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were spotted together after it became apparent early this year that they had rekindled their love after a nearly two-year lull.

Though Cyrus and Hemsworth sorted out their differences and came back together, they initially intended to keep a low profile, sometimes keeping their fans guessing about the status of their relationship.

However, they have lately seemed to be embracing public life again. If they are not appearing on each other’s social media account, they can be seen together at public events such as the Los Angeles art exhibition over the weekend.

Cyrus showed off her diamond ring when she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show , confirming her engagement to Hemsworth . The “We Can’t Stop” singer and partner seems to be using public events to eliminate any misconceptions people might have about their relationship, especially given what has seemed to be an on-off relationship.

Hemsworth continued casting his ex in positive light

Cyrus and Hemsworth got engaged in June 2012, but after three years of dating, they suspended their relationship, only to reunite last holiday season, People reported. But their unity was largely kept out of the public glare.

Even after they broke off the relationship, Hemsworth still talked kindly of his ex-fiancée. In an interview with Men’s Fitness, Hemsworth described Cyrus as being of free spirit, adding that she wasn’t malicious in any way. But Hemsworth also admitted that Cyrus was a young girl who liked to do what she wanted to do.

During the break period, Hemsworth talked of having not imagined that feelings between him and Cyrus would ever change. He added that the change he experienced after they split confirmed that the love was real. Hemsworth described the relationship with Cyrus as being an important part of his life, adding that was a fact that will never change.

Hemsworth still harbored kind words for Cyrus nearly two years after they went separate ways.

Hemsworth and Cyrus got engaged after they met while filming The Last Song in 2009, Huffington Post reported.

As rumors began to come out that Cyrus and Hemsworth were back together, some reports alleged that the duo celebrated the New Year 2016 in Australia, Hemsworth’s home country. Though Cyrus and Hemsworth didn’t share photos of their time together in Australia for the New Year, eyewitnesses talked about the rekindled love on social media.

In Australia, Cyrus hung around with Hemsworth’s family, including brothers Chris and Luke together with their wives. Hemsworth and Cyrus spent time at the Falls Music Festival in Byron Bay while in Australia.

So far, it can be said the fact that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were spotted together at the weekend shows all is well with the duo.
