Megyn Kelly Hints That Donald Trump Holds Blame For Inflaming Political Protests

Megyn Kelly certainly doesn’t agree with protesters shutting down a Donald Trump rally in Chicago, but she certainly can’t stop her negativity towards him. Some people like her for it and some people don’t. Kelly began her show by talking about the Chicago protests that caused a Trump rally to be canceled.
“Breaking live tonight, you are looking at the streets of Chicago where, tonight, violent protests broke out before a rally for presidential candidate Donald Trump at the University of Illinois at Chicago.”
It’s not surprising that there were mostly Democrats at the event protesting. However, there were also a number of Republicans who protested because they don’t think Trump’s rhetoric represents them.
Marco Rubio then spoke to Megyn Kelly on the phone.
“It’s a very disturbing night for a lot of reasons. This is Chicago, protesters are in industry. This is an organized effort from groups who wanted to disrupt an event.”
Rubio indicated that although he doesn’t agree with a lot of things Trump stands for, it’s wrong to take away the first amendment rights for those to speak freely. She gave more time to Ted Cruz, who spoke to a number of press representatives.
“I think a campaign bears responsibility for creating an environment when their candidate encourages violence and people to punch each other in the face,” Cruz said — obviously referring to Donald Trump.
Cruz hinted that this will continue if Trump continued his rhetoric. He took the time to insult Trump’s lack of policies to deal with any real solutions to the problems this country faces.
Kelly appeared to be praising Cruz when summarizing what he said about the responsibility of candidates. One wonders how Megyn Kelly feels about one of her favorite guests, Dr. Ben Carson, deciding to endorse Donald Trump. CNN reported on the endorsement.
“Ben Carson threw his support behind Donald Trump Friday morning, saying the two men had ‘buried the hatchet’ and praising the Republican Party’s front-runner as a the voice of the people to be heard.”
The article then quoted Carson talking about what he thinks is a serious issue.
“What I’ve been seeing recently is political operatives… once again trying to assert themselves and trying to thwart the will of the people. I find that to be an extraordinarily dangerous place right now,” Carson said, talking about Democrats allegedly thwarting the Constitution in order to get their way.
CNN added that Carson’s endorsement gives Trump a major boost before the primaries in important states like Florida and Ohio. Trump said that Carson would play a big part in his campaign. However, many on Twitter say that Carson is “selling out.”

Megyn Kelly will have a lot more to report on in the coming week, especially since the Donald Trump protests will continue. How do you think this will all play out? Do you think people have the right to censure Donald Trump and his supporters? Let us know in the comments section.
