A couple days back, many websites suggested that Donald Trump was aware of a debate question before an actual debate. The Hill was one of the sites that suggested this.
“Donald Trump received a question for the first debate of the primary election in advance, Megyn Kelly wrote in her new book. In ‘Settle for More,’ the Fox News anchor writes that Trump had angrily called Fox executives the day before the first GOP debate, saying he had heard that her first question was “a very pointed question directed at him.”

The article adds that Donald Trump’s actions are seen as hypocritical, especially because he slammed Hillary Clinton for doing the same. However, according to Raw Story , Kelly denies that Trump was handed a pre-debate question.
“Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly has denied Thursday night that her memoir revealed Donald Trump had managed to get at least one of her debate questions ahead of time. ‘For the record, my book ‘Settle for More’ does not suggest Trump had any debate Qs in advance, nor do I believe that he did,’ she wrote on Twitter.”

Still, that didn’t stop some sources from claiming that Kelly wasn’t telling the truth in her tweet.

“But if the question — or [even] its general tone — was leaked in advance of the debate, it would suggest Trump had time to prepare his response, giving him an advantage over his Republican rivals. It would also parallel the disclosure that Donna Brazile, then a CNN commentator and the interim chair of the Democratic National Committee, leaked debate topics to Hillary Clinton’s campaign before Democratic debates,” said Washington Post columnist Paul Farhi , adding that Trump even called Fox executives to complain about Megyn.
Some other sources also believe that Trump could have at least known about the general tone of the question he would be asked. Of course, not a lot of this matters now that Donald Trump has been elected our next president.
Megyn Kelly, however, has been as objective as possible when covering the election. As many of her fans noted, she has publicized the good and bad for both Hillary and Donald. Two days after the election, Mrs. Kelly covered Trump’s election protests on The Kelly File .
“Breaking tonight, just two days after his victory, President-elect Donald Trump heads to Washington to meet with the current president and Congressional leaders. But as lawmakers work to ensure a peaceful transition, streets across America are anything but serene,” Kelly began her show telling her audience, adding that some of Mr. Trump’s critics were actually calling for violence.
Kelly had Fox News Correspondent Rob Schmitt comment on the situation.

“Megyn, you know, today we saw, you know, President-elect Trump having a cordial meeting with President Obama and a handshake, getting olive branches of some sort extended to him from people like Elizabeth Warren and from Bernie Sanders. But tonight, the objection to this election remains here in New York City, albeit, it is much smaller than last night.”
Four days after the election, protests remain. Unfortunately, as The Oregonian reports, a protestor was shot on Saturday morning on the Morrison Bridge. Luckily, the protestor suffered injuries that weren’t life-threatening. But this likely isn’t the last case of violence we will hear about in the months leading to Donald Trump’s inauguration.
