There have been huge leaps in the power women have earned over the last 100 years and in celebration of those achievements Forbes this week posted their annual list of the 100 most powerful women from around the world.
While some of the names you may have never heard of, for example Irene Rosenfeld, CEO of Kraft Foods, others will be more familiar including first lady Michelle Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.
From non-profit operators to world leaders, billionaires and politicians the Top 100 list paints an even portrait of today’s working females and the Top 10 list shows how far female workers have truly come.
