Matthew Perry wants to get sober and to do that the Friend and Mr. Sunshine actor has decided to “go away for a month” to “focus on sobriety.”
Perry has been battling alcoholism for years and he recently told TMZ :
“I’m making plans to go away for a month to focus on my sobriety and to continue my life in recovery. Please enjoy making fun of me on the world wide web.”
Apparently Perry has not suffered from any type of relapse and just wants to make sure it stays that way.
In 1997 and 2001 Perry checked himself into rehab for prescription drug addiction.
