Will we see Martina Hingis arrested soon for allegedly beating up her husband Thibault Hutin with the help of several others?
As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Martina Hingis beat her husband Thibault Hutin with a DVD player.
Husband Thibault Hutin alleges Martina Hingis cheated on him at least twice, claiming Martina Hingis “has always been unfaithful to her boyfriends.” He discovered Martina Hingis cheating on him through paparazzi pictures the first time but the other was when Thibault Hutin walked in on Martina Hingis with another man in their hotel room. The worse part is that Thibault Hutin found out Martina Hingis considered them “separated” only through reading a Swiss magazine.
Unfortunately for Thibault Hutin, the emotional pain was about to turn into physical pain. He claims he was beaten to a “bloody pulp” by Martina Hingis and her family:
“On Monday evening, I was in our shared apartment when the doorbell rang. In the course of a dispute to Martina and her mother Melanie Molitor pounced on me, beat me and scratched. My upbringing forbids me to beat women.”
The alleged assault included the mother’s boyfriend, Mario Widmer, who helped the girls by throwing a DVD player at Thibault Hutin’s head:
“They wanted to kill me. I’m shocked! I never thought it would go so far. I’m really afraid. What will be next, a bullet?”
Hutin even claims Martina Hingis stole his passport and credit cards during their escape. At the same time, both of the alleged accomplices are senior citizens so assuming Thibault Hutin’s story is true he simply chose to not defend himself based upon previous statements.
So will the Swiss police see Martina Hingis arrested? Thibault Hutin says the police in Pfäffikon “went with me back to the apartment and forced the three to surrender my valuables.” Hutin has since received text messages from Martina Hingis allegedly threatening him with Russian death threats, claiming they’ll do something with his neck and “whites.” (Something was apparently being lost in translation.)
But Martina Hingis is denying all assault allegations according to a source close to her:
“That is utterly ridiculous… Martina, as always, has chosen to take the high road and she is not going to speak anymore about it.”
A little over a month ago, Thibault Hutin “started the process of filing a complaint, but it hasn’t been finished yet.” He apparently is going to move back to his native France. There also hasn’t been any word on whether Hutin will divorce Martina Hingis, but that legal paperwork will probably wait until the current matter is settled.
So far, there hasn’t been a final word on whether the Swiss police will see Martina Hingis arrested or at least charge her with a crime. But just this Wednesday Swiss police spokesman Florian Grossmann said the Martina Hingis, Melanie Molitor, and Mario Widmer were were interviewed at Schwyz canton police headquarters last week. Although no timetable was set for the a decision, the canton justice department will decide whether to press assault charges and have Martina Hingis arrested. Mrs. Hingis has declined to comment on the assault allegations.
Do you think the police should arrest Martina Hingis for allegedly assaulting Thibault Hutin?
