Journalist Megyn Kelly has returned to the spotlight following recent controversy. Once known for her direct interviews and commentary on Fox News Channel, she now brings the same attitude and probing questions to her podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show.

She attracted attention after a recent feud with colleague Elisabeth Hasselbeck. The conflict stemmed from Kelly’s remarks about U.S. service members killed during military operations in Iran.

On an episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, the 55-year-old host questioned the purpose of recent U.S. military strikes in Iran.

The remarks followed the U.S. and Israel launching Operation Epic Fury on February 28, which American officials described as one of their most significant attacks on Iran.

“I don’t think those four service members died for the United States,” Kelly said. “I think they died for Iran or for Israel.”

Kelly further claimed that the U.S. was effectively fighting “Israel’s war,” adding that the government should focus more on domestic priorities rather than overseas conflicts.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck addressed Kelly’s comments during Tuesday’s broadcast of “The View.” Hasselbeck, who spent nearly a decade on the show before joining Fox & Friends, recently returned as a guest co-host for a special week-long appearance.

“How dare you, Megyn Kelly?” Hasselbeck said, criticizing her for suggesting what the fallen soldiers died for.

“I have my heart with my friends in the military — you do not get to decide what they died for,” she added, arguing that Kelly had no authority to define the meaning of their sacrifice.

Despite co-host Joy Behar’s warning that Kelly is known for “counterpunching,” Hasselbeck stood by her comments, stating, “I’m not afraid of her.”

The news of the soldiers came after an Iranian drone strike on Sunday killed six American soldiers at an operations center inside a civilian port. The facility, miles from the main Army base, was a shipping-container-style structure with limited security.

Megyn Kelly responded to Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s comments, stating, “No one gives a damn what this know-nothing has to say,” and added that Hasselbeck was “too weak” to handle the environment at “The View” or “Fox & Friends” in the past.

Meanwhile, CNN anchor Jake Tapper has slammed Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt after she said that media coverage of the US troops killed in Iran was meant to make President Donald Trump “look bad.”

“It’s incredibly offensive,” Tapper said. “I don’t care what they think about us. It’s offensive to the families who deserve coverage,” the 56-year-old journalist asserted.

“It really is the height of solipsism and narcissism to think that our coverage of fallen warriors has anything to do with how we cover a president,” he added.

Though, Megyn Kelly’s style of commentary involves choosing “sensationalism over truth” and “partisan agendas over facts.” However, this time, Kelly decided to present facts over her loyalty towards Trump.
