Luann de Lesseps is being put on medication after her latest run-in with the law.

According to a report from Radar Online , the Real Housewives of New York City star was ordered back to jail last week after failing to stay sober and ultimately put on new probation terms, which require her to take medication that helps her steer clear of alcohol.

As the outlet revealed, de Lesseps will be taking a prescription known as Antabuse.

De Lesseps was first put on probation last year after being arrested in December 2017 for kicking a police officer and threatening his life as he attempted to arrest her for trespassing in a Palm Beach, Florida, hotel room. Although the reality star went to rehab a couple of times in 2018, her struggles with alcohol have reportedly continued. Now, after violating her probation, she’s being forced to abide by much stricter terms.

In addition to her medication requirements, de Lesseps also agreed to have weekly counseling sessions on the phone and monthly in-person sessions with her therapist.

If de Lesseps was to violate her probation again, she will be forced to pay for her travel expenses from New York to Palm Beach, Florida, to deal with whatever ramifications follow.

As for whether or not de Lesseps was arrested at the time of her probation violation, there have been conflicting reports. Although Radar Online suggested de Lesseps was “released from custody” after agreeing to the new terms of her probation, de Lesseps labeled reports of jail time as “false” in a statement shared by her rep.

“I’m glad the judge was understanding once made aware of the evidence provided and I was then released,” her statement read, via Entertainment Tonight . “I am now looking forward to completing my remaining few months of probation. I want to put this behind me and move forward with my life.”

De Lesseps has been open with her struggles with alcohol over the past year. As fans saw last summer, she was noticeably absent during filming on the Season 10 reunion for The Real Housewives of New York City after entering rehab for a second time. Then, earlier this month, de Lesseps confirmed she had made it to production for the Season 11 reunion taping, despite her ongoing struggles.

To see more of de Lesseps and her co-stars, don’t miss new episodes of The Real Housewives of New York City Season 11 on Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
