Lindsey Vonn has confirmed that she’s dating Tiger Woods.
After months of speculation in the media, and being caught red-handed doing things that couples do ( like lending each other their private jets ), the Olympic skier finally put the gossip mill to bed by confirming that she is indeed in a relationship with celebrity golfer Tiger Woods on her Facebook page.
“I guess it wasn’t a well-kept secret but yes, I am dating Tiger Woods,” Vonn posted to her page on Monday with the photo posted below.
The up-until-now-reserved Vonn also briefly detailed how her relationship with Woods developed romantically.
“Our relationship evolved from a friendship into something more over the past couple of months and it has made me very happy.”
Ooh, details! Don’t get used to it.
“I don’t plan on addressing this further as I would like to keep that part of my life between us, my family and close friends,” the 28-year-old concluded in her post. “Thank you for understanding and your continued support! xo LV”
Unfortunately, it looks like that’s all we’re going to get on the matter. To remove any further doubt, Lewis Kay, a spokesman for Vonn, merely confirmed that the Facebook post was straight from the horses mouth with The Associated Press .
Woods has been divorced from Elin Nordegren after a huge cheating scandal erupted in 2010, and the 37-year-old pro-golfer has already introduced Vonn to his kids Sam and Charlie. Vonn has reportedly been giving the two skiing lessons .
Nordegren has also moved on. The 33-year-old Swedish model has been reportedly dating billionaire Chris Cline , a 53-year-old coal magnate.
Despite the messy divorce, Woods’ relationship with Nordegren has seemingly improved over the past several months. They were recently spotted together at a sporting event with their kids, prompting some speculation that they might get back together. Now that seems to not be the case.
