Fans had to draw attention to a “nightmare” feature in Lauren Sanchez’s photos as she was celebrating her big day. The former Extra correspondent married Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, over the weekend. Over the course of three days, the couple celebrated the Venetian wedding with their inner circle in Hollywood, which included Sydney Sweeney, Ivanka Trump, Orlando Bloom, Kim Kardashian, and Tom Brady.
In addition to changing her account, Lauren posted a picture of her classic wedding gown to Instagram to commemorate the moment. Some people’s attention was drawn to the picture’s background, while others were fixated on the “absolutely classy” ensemble.
Lauren wore a fitted lace mermaid dress that was specially made by Dolce & Gabbana for the wedding. The Italian designer also created Jeff’s stylish tuxedo. Although many thought she resembled a “real life Cinderella,” critics noticed the uneasy-looking tailors in the back and discovered other Hollywood parallels. “The faces of the women in the background says it all,” one commented. Lauren claimed that in order to create the design, she actually looked up images of brides from the 1950s. Sophia Loren’s wedding gown from the 1958 film Houseboat especially touched her. Looking at one of the movie’s images, Lauren remembered, “I said, ‘That’s it. The dress is that.
The journalist acknowledged that her original concept for the gown was far different from the classic piece. “It went from ‘I want a simple, sexy modern dress’ to ‘I want something that evokes a moment,’ and where I am right now. I am a different person than I was five years ago,” she mentioned. The entire creative process, according to Lauren, was like “a dream.”
