Lamar Odom Calls James Harden One Of Khloe Kardashian’s ‘Groupies,’ Source Reports

Watch out, James Harden — Lamar Odom has an interesting take on the entire Khloe Kardashian relationship.

According to an unnamed source for Hollywood Life, Lamar believes Harden was one of Khloe Kardashian’s “groupies,” and that James Harden used Kardashian. The source alleged that the Houston Rockets player only hooked up with Khloe in the first place in an effort to raise his stock in the entertainment world.

“He only wanted to get with Khloe so he could date a famous woman. He was using her name to gain fame in the entertainment world, to be in the blogs and to be invited to some of the hottest places in LA.”

The Hollywood Life source added that “The NBA didn’t get him poppin’ and on the scene, Khloe did. He was one of her groupies and Lamar knew that all along.”

As a result, Lamar Odom wasn’t surprised when Khloe alleged on her talk show, Kocktails with Khloe, that James Harden cheated on her.

News broke that Khloe Kardashian and James Harden split at the beginning of February, though sources allege that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star dumped Harden several weeks prior. Around the same time the news broke, Kardashian posted several cryptic messages to her Instagram account, lending credibility to the rumor that the NBA player may have cheated on Khloe. Kardashian seems to have confirmed the rumors with her claim that she has the receipts to prove it.

After Khloe’s claim on her talk show, a separate Hollywood Life report indicated that Harden was angry with Kardashian for blasting him on TV. According to a friend of James’, Harden was upset that Kardashian felt the need to expose the details of their relationship when Harden did his best to keep things between them out of the media.

“But that’s a Kardashian for you. She threw him under the bus to spark some ratings on her show. But it’s cool. It’s whatever. They’re over now and he’s happy and so are his teammates and his friends. Now he can focus on real reality, not her fake reality.”

Since Kardashian’s split from Harden, things seem to have improved between Khloe and Lamar . Though Kardashian has made it clear that she and Lamar are just friends, she did say on her talk show that re-marrying the former Los Angeles Laker would be her “best dream.”

“I hope that first marriage could happen again, but it’s really hard to erase everything that happened. Just building a friendship back is what I’m doing now, it has nothing intimately, nothing at all, just pure love and I want someone to learn how to love themselves again.”

Khloe and Lamar were married in 2009 after a whirlwind romance, and they couple filed for divorce in 2013. In a strange twist, Kardashian and Odom never completed their divorce, as Khloe opted to withdraw the petition in October after Odom was found unconscious in a Las Vegas-area brothel.

In the months that followed, Kardashian spent days at Lammy’s hospital bedside. She eventually said she decided to withdraw the divorce paperwork because it just wasn’t the right time to go through with it. Kardashian was dating Harden at the time of Odom’s drug overdose.

Regardless of what happens with Khloe and Lamar going forward, it seems obvious that James Harden is out of the picture for good — and according to reports, Lamar knew that Harden wasn’t in it with Kardashian for the long haul.

“Lamar knew all along that Khloe’s relationship with James would never last,” a source told Hollywood Life. “He knew it, he knew it, he knew it. James was never a threat to Lamar. James was a good time boy and fun for Khloe to party with, but when it comes to love and matters of the heart, he didn’t stand a chance.”
