If you’ve been keeping up with the Kardashians for the past few years, you’ll know how big of a deal Kendall Jenner’s Sweet 16 celebration was when it happened. And one of the most memorable moments of the birthday bash was when Kylie brought Kendall’s favorite rapper, Tyga, for a surprise performance.
Kylie recently shared Snapchat clips of that moment, Mirror reports. Curiously, that was also the moment when Kylie, who was only 14 then, met Tyga for the very first time. What’s weird about the Snapchat video is that Tyga was still with Blac Chyna at the time. In one of the Snapchat clips, Kylie says she is excited to book Kendall’s “favorite rapper,” oblivious to the fact that she and the American rapper will become one of the most talked-about couples in a few years. In another clip, Kendall says “I can’t believe Tyga is at my party.”
“I was able to book a musical guest for Kendall. He’s one of her favorite rappers and I’m really nervous, I hope she likes it,” Kylie says in the video.

A fan also asked Kylie a question in response to her Snapchat vids, asking if she had her first crush on Tyga at Kendall’s sweet 16 birthday party — to which Kylie responded with an emphatic “NOOOO!”

Jenner followed up the Tyga snaps with another clip, this time from another old episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, showing her hanging out with Rob. Before Tyga and Blac came into their lives, the two siblings were pretty tight, as seen in the shared clip below.

What makes Kylie’s nostalgic Snappy videos weird is that they were taken at a time when Tyga was still dating Blac Chyna. Chyna and Tyga, who are both fighting for custody of their son King Cairo, already went their separate ways years ago. But now that Blac Chyna is dating Kylie’s big brother Rob, it makes things awkward between Kylie and Rob, not to mention between Tyga and Blac.
As expected, the relationship between Rob and the rest of the Kardashian family broke down as a result. It even came to a point where Khloe was forced to kick Rob out of her home. Since then, Rob hasn’t been on speaking terms with the rest of the Kardashian family.
There’s a silver lining to the story, however. Rob Kardashian has never looked happier and fitter, as he had been suffering from deep depression and obesity over a year ago. His sisters have Blac to thank for that, courtesy of the video vixen regularly urging Rob to follow her diet plan and work out regularly at the gym. Amid PDA moments with Blac Chyna broadcasted via social media, Mr. Kardashian has shown signs of improvement when it comes to his weight, as reported in The Inquisitr.
Rob and Kylie seem to have patched things up between them right on the former’s 29th birthday, however. A friend of the siblings, Nicky Diamond, recently uploaded a Snapchat photo showing R.K. and Kylie standing side by side and with smiles on both faces.
A video was also uploaded showing Kylie inside a car and Rob standing right at the car’s open door. “What’s up, guys. Hi Kylie,” Rob said as Kylie responded with “hey” while making a peace sign at the camera.
And Kylie wasn’t the only family member who greeted Rob Kardashian on his 29th birthday.

Khloe, 31, wrote a sweet birthday message for her brother on her website .
“Happy birthday to my sweet brother! My best friend! My ace forever!!! My love for your knows no bounds. You are and always will be my ultimate and all I ever wish for you on this day and everyday is your true and complete happiness. I love and adore you Rob!! No one will ever get our bond and I love that!”
Kendall’s birthday message to Rob on her app was short but moving.
“Happy Birthday, Bobby! Love you, you are such a light on this earth.”
Mr Kardashian himself posted an Instagram photo showing himself and Blac Chyna having a pre-birthday celebration.
