Kylie Jenner And Tyga Back Together: She Confirms ‘Engagement Ring’ Is Actually A ‘Promise Ring’

Kylie Jenner and Tyga are back together, but they aren’t engaged quite yet.

After debuting a massive diamond ring on her engagement finger in June, Kylie Jenner was faced with rumors of a possible engagement. However, in one of her latest SnapChat posts, the 19-year-old reality star revealed that her stunning new ring isn’t an engagement ring, but rather a promise ring.

“If this is my promise ring I wanna know what my engagement ring is gonna look like,” Kylie Jenner wrote in the caption of her September 8 post, according to a report by Us Weekly.

According to a September 9 report by the Daily Mail, Kylie Jenner shared the post while attending Tyga’s performance at the Nylon Rebel Fashion Party, which was held at the Provocateur nightclub in New York.

Kylie Jenner and Tyga arrived in New York City earlier this week to attend Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 4 fashion show, as well as a couple of other fashion week events, and throughout their time in the Big Apple, the couple has been seen frequently around town. On Thursday night, ahead of Tyga’s performance, Kylie Jenner was spotted out with her older sister, Kendall Jenner, 20. As the Daily Mail revealed of the sister’s outing, the women were seen making their way out of an apartment building where they had been stuck in an elevator lift before enjoying a meal together.

Although Kylie Jenner and Tyga aren’t engaged at this point, she seems to be looking forward to the idea, at least when it comes to her ring, and her brother-in-law, Kanye West, is reportedly on board and recently encouraged Tyga to propose to Jenner on her 18th birthday.

“Kanye prides himself on two things: love and making a huge scene,” a source told Hollywood Life last month. “No relationship is perfect, but he thinks Tyga and [Kylie Jenner] are meant for each other. That said, he’s telling Tyga not to be scared and propose to Kylie on her birthday, just like he did to Kim.”

“Kanye said proposing to Kim was one of the best things he’s ever done in life, and told Tyga if he loves [Kylie Jenner] like he says he does, then he should wifey her up!” the source continued. “Time is running out and there’s nothing like young love. Kanye even confessed to Tyga that he thought about proposing to Kim when they started hanging when he was 26.”

Kylie Jenner and Tyga haven’t had the most trouble-free year. After breaking up briefly at the end of 2015, Kylie Jenner and Tyga faced allegations of possible cheating and in May of this year, they broke up.

Following their split, Kylie Jenner embarked on a new romance with PartyNextDoor and for weeks, the two appeared to be enjoying one another’s company. Then, after Tyga was spotted out numerous times with British lingerie model Demi Rose Mawby, the reality star and rapper got back together.

A short time after their reunion, Kylie Jenner showed off her diamond ring and immediately, fans assumed that the ring was an engagement ring, especially after Jenner was heard calling Tyga her “husband” and seen referring to herself and the rapper as “Mr. & Mrs.” on Instagram.
