Kim Kardashian has revealed the real reason behind her decision to delete Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s photos from her mom’s birthday bash photo dump.
Kris Jenner organized a lavish James Bond theme birthday party when she turned 70, which ended up being a star-studded affair.
Kim shared photos from the grand event on her Instagram, which included photos of herself with her sisters, mom, co-stars from All is Fair, and the royal couple.
However, the post soon attracted controversy when the reality star deleted some of the photos. During a recent appearance on Khloe Kardashian‘s podcast, Kim Kardashian revealed the reason for deleting the photos, saying she never posts without permission, and she did the same for the royal couple’s photos.
Kim and Khloe Kardashian finally clear up the #HarryandMeghan photogate scandal, but it leaves more questions than answers. So the Harkles thought photos at a party was disrespectful of Remembrance Day, but GOING to the party was ok? So if there aren’t photos, it didn’t happen?… pic.twitter.com/IKCwrs6LTt

She started by explaining her mom’s sweet relationship with Meghan. Kim mentioned that the Duchess was on-board with posting the photos initially but something shifted later.
“And then after it was posted, I think they realised it was Remembrance Day, and they didn’t want to be seen at a party, even though it’s already up, you know, and then taken down. And then I think they realised, like, ‘Oh, this was so silly,” she clarified.
When Khloe pointed out that the couple did attend the Baby2Baby event, Kim mentioned that it was for charity. Khloe did not sound too convinced about the reason, as Kim confirmed she deleted the photos to respect Remembrance Day.
She also added that everyone had speculations and took it the wrong way. The SKIMS founder also shared that she was disappointed with everyone’s reaction and joked about the royal couple doing her brand campaign to diffuse the tension.
Thank you to Kim and Khloe Kardashian for confirming to the world that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continue to lie through their teeth.
This time it was about Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party picture debacle.

Kim Kardashian’s take on the issue shows that just permission wasn’t enough to post the photos publicly. They had to be posted at a perfect time for the royal couple to feel comfortable. Moreover, they might have tried to avoid controversy at that time, but in the end had to deal with rumors.
Even after the clarification, netizens teared into the royal couple. Some called them pretentious and blamed them for lying to maintain an image, while others pointed out that there are several photos of them from the party that can never be erased.
Others pointed out that they could have prevented getting photographed if they wanted to maintain privacy or take a stand for Remembrance Day. Meghan and Harry have not commented on the issue at the time of writing.
