Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are known for ignoring conventions. So when the famous couple decided that having a divorce agreement in place would be wise, they followed through to craft a very “unconventional” breakup pact, an insider told Radar Online, which describes Kardashian and West’s marriage as surviving on “life support.”
Included in their divorce agreement are details on how to split up their enormous fortune, which may help to avoid what would be a highly publicized court battle. West and Kardashian have not neglected their children, because the breakup pact even includes a plan for dividing their offspring, according to the insider.
“They’ve figured out a mid-nuptial agreement, where Kim gets primary custody of the kids and Kanye holds onto most of his cash.”
As Kardashian has become more aware of West’s activities, she has lost some of her trust in him, according to Radar. Consequently, the 35-year-old reality TV star has taken time to evaluate their relationship and marriage.
“They’re both adult enough to realize that divorce is always a possibility and to their credit they wanted to figure out arrangements ahead of time,” explained the insider.
If Kim and Kanye do get to the point where a divorce seems inevitable, they reportedly worry that they would be so emotional that they would have problems figuring out how to divide their assets. And although it might seem odd, putting the divorce pact actually has improved their communications, according to the source.
“They don’t want to have to make any life-altering decisions when they’re super-emotional and not thinking clearly if they split. It’s unconventional, but it’s actually helped them communicate now this burden’s been lifted.”
But are all these details about a divorce agreement and a marriage on “life support” true? Gossip Cop is challenging the report that Kardashian and West have completed a divorce pact.
Although Radar cited the insider as describing how the two worked out an agreement to divide up both their assets and their youngsters North and Saint, that “mid-nuptial agreement” is false, according to Gossip Cop, which also questions the allegation that Kardashian has become “mistrustful” of her husband and is, therefore, analyzing their marriage “more closely than ever before.”
A representative for Kim told Gossip Cop that the “mid-nuptial agreement” allegations and the report that her marriage to West is on “life support” is “absurd.”
Adding ammunition to the report that Kardashian and West are happy in their marriage, Hollywood Life ‘s insider revealed that Kanye wants his entire family to go with him on his Life of Pablo tour.
What’s stopping Kim from agreeing to go on tour with him, along with North and Saint? Kardashian is content at home with her 3-year-old daughter and 7-month-old son. With the spotlight turning increasingly to her younger sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Kim wants some time to enjoy her role as “stay-at-home mom.”
For years, Kardashian kept to a frantic schedule, which at times required her to rise at 5 a.m., get into a make-up chair at 6 a.m., shoot for a full day, then hop on a jet to head to Paris. But because she does love Kanye, she is considering fulfilling his request.
“Kanye hates being away from Kim and the kids, he just doesn’t feel right when he’s not with them,” explained the source. “Most guys in the industry when they go on tour they leave their wife and kids at home but not Kanye.”
Although taking North and Saint on tour would be challenging, Kardashian is “planning to at least try because it’s so important to Kanye,” added the insider.
