Kim Kardashian is reportedly trying to get pregnant in an effort to save her allegedly failing marriage.
According to a new report, the 36-year-old mother of two wants to expand her family with rapper Kanye West, but unfortunately, her plan may not be the best idea for the relationship.
“[Kim Kardashian] is really depressed about not having another baby,” a source close to the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star told Radar Online .
“Kim is not pregnant. Not at all. And she is really unhappy. All she wants in the world is to have more kids and she isn’t,” the source added.
Kim Kardashian went through two dramatic pregnancies with her children, 3-year-old North West and 1-year-old Saint West, and as fans saw on Keeping Up with the Kardashian , she has been advised against conceiving any more children. That said, Radar Online’s insider said she was “desperate” to expand her family — even if it meant that her marriage, which she is allegedly attempting to save, would ultimately be put in jeopardy.
Although fans saw plenty of Kim Kardashian’s health crisis on Keeping Up with the Kardashians , what the cameras didn’t show was an alleged strife in her marriage to Kanye West, who she wed in May of 2014.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West recently enjoyed a trip to the Bahamas in celebration of the rapper’s birthday, but despite the trip, explained Radar Online , the two celebrities have grown apart.
“Kanye is hardly around. He leaves the house for long periods during the day. They’re not spending any time together,” the source said.
In addition to their time apart, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are reportedly on different pages when it comes to their plans to expand their family. As the outlet explained, tensions have been mounting as Kim Kardashian’s obsession with a new baby intensifies.
“[Kim Kardashian] can only think about having another baby but Kanye isn’t nearly as obsessed as she is. It is driving them apart,” the insider noted.

Prior to Radar Online’s report, another report suggested that the rapper was hoping to have more kids with Kim Kardashian and had reportedly brought up the issue during their recent vacation in the Bahamas.
“[Kanye West] loves his family so much and really wants more kids,” an insider told Hollywood Life days ago. “He definitely brought it up on the trip. [Kim Kardashian] would love to [have more children] as well in a perfect world, but the reality is that pregnancy is so hard on her it may not happen.”
As the outlet went on to reveal, Kim Kardashian suffered through two pregnancies due to a condition known as placenta accreta, which causes blood vessels and other parts of the placenta to grow into the uterine wall. As fans saw on Keeping Up with the Kardashians , Kim Kardashian experienced tons of pain during both pregnancies and was told by her physicians that getting pregnant for a third time could lead to major health problems.
On the show and off, Kim Kardashian has been vocal about her pregnancy struggles.
“My doctor had to stick his entire arm in me and detach the placenta with his hand, scraping it away from my uterus with his fingernails,” Kim Kardashian wrote in a blog post after welcoming her daughter. “My mom was crying; she had never seen anything like this before. My delivery was fairly easy, but then going through that — it was the most painful experience of my life!”
