Nine-year-old Robby Novak spends a lot of time pretending that he’s the president. He wears a suit and tie, gives fake speeches, and pretends that he’s sitting behind the Resolute Desk. Well, the Kid President didn’t have to pretend this week when he got a tour of the Oval Office by President Obama.
Novak, who helped the White House play an April Fool’s Day joke, has been hanging out at the White House all week. He participated in the annual Easter Egg roll and today he got to meet Obama.
The president let Novak sit behind his desk and even let the Kid President make a phone call. But don’t worry, Obama was sure to warn Robby not to start an international incident.
Obama also tells Novak about the telegraph and the difficulties of the third grade. Robbie also gets to see a program from the “I Have A Dream” speech and a portrait of Abraham Lincoln.
Novak has made several Kid President videos for Rainn Wilson’s Soul Pancake channel. In his most popular video, called “A Pep Talk From Kid President,” Novak urges America to be more awesome. The video has been viewed more than 17 million times.
Here’s a video of the Kid President meeting the real president.
