Lamar Odom’s father, Joe Odom, told RumorFix.com in an exclusive interview that Khloe and Lamar were going to be the proud parents of their first child. The couple have been anxious to start a family and have a child since 2009 when they first got married. Joe was quoted by RumorFix having said:
“I got a little news. I’m about ready to have a grandchild!”
Lamar and his father have a very close relationship which resulted in Lamar once skipping a basketball game to be by his fathers side as his father had become ill with food poisoning back in February. In regards to Lamar, his father Joe was quoted having said:
“I know he’s excited. They’ve been trying to do this for a couple of years. We’re all excited. […] Ain’t nothing but a newborn thoroughbred. […] This is all lamb chop baby!”
Khloe Kardashian discussed her thoughts on her attempts to have children as she was quoted having said:
“It’s so hard. I never knew about ovulation and the limited amount of time that you have to get pregnant. We would love to have kids. But when you have schedules such as ours, it’s really hard to hit that mark. So it’s frustrating, but definitely. I want to have kids.”
Khloe and Lamar’s wedding occurred in 2009 after the two had been dating for a single month. The limelight couple have made their desire to have a child, despite their struggle with conception, abundantly clear.
