Katy Perry wasn’t afraid to show off a big “part of me” during a red carpet premiere of her movie “Katy Perry: Part Of Me 3D” in Rio de Janeiro, but came bearing two different sides at separate events.
In the daytime photo call to promote the concert film, Katy wore a yellow-green Versus frock with holes strategically cut out and “gave us about as much of a 3-D view as the movie does,” E! News noted.
The dress notably lacked a bra, but The Huffington Post pointed out that it may be for health reasons. The famous spinning peppermint bra that Katy Perry was seen wearing in her movie was deemed a “hazard” by her insurance company.
Maybe it’s just Katy letting loose a bit after becoming officially a single woman again. Her 14-month marriage to funnyman Russel Brand came to an official end earlier this month when a California court finalized their divorce after the standard six-month waiting period.
Since then she had jumped head-first into the dating pool, hitting the Paris party scene with French model Baptiste Giabiconi and then a month later engaging in PDA with Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd at Coachella, E! News reported.
Though provocative, Katy’s head-turning daytime dress didn’t last long in Rio de Jainero, E! News noted. For the evening premiere Katy Perry ditched the frock and instead donned top-to-toe glam, the report noted. With her hair swept back in a sleep updo, the singer wore a full-length Dolce & Gabbana gown.
