Katy Perry accepted the award for Best International Song at the NRJ Awards in Cannes this weekend, before it was revealed that she didn’t win it.
Although Perry had her name called out, she walked on stage to Distrubia; Rihanna was the actual winner.
Host Nikos Aliagas fessed up at the end of the show that there had been a mistake with the vote counting.
Perry did manage one award though that was actually hers: Best International Album category for One of the Boys.
