Katie Holmes Mum About Jamie Foxx Dates, But Posts Suri Cruise Photos: Why Duo Seeks Privacy

Katie Holmes has continued to refuse to dish on reports that she and Jamie Foxx are involved in a romance. But it only takes suggestive sightings such as Katie getting coffee for two to lead to speculation that she was getting a beverage for Foxx, as well as for herself, noted the Daily Mail.

Seen near her apartment in New York, Holmes didn’t need makeup on her short trip to Starbucks. The actress, 37, looked sleek and chic in a combination of skinny jeans and a casual t-shirt.

Despite her repeated solo appearances in public, Katie and Jamie are reported to have been involved for three years. Foxx, 48, recently was observed in Canada with Holmes.

Katie was in Canada for her career, but she took time for a quiet dinner date with Jamie in Toronto. The couple was seen at Kasa Moto Japanese restaurant but left separately. While Holmes’ assistant guided her through a back door, Foxx left by a different exit.

Jamie subsequently was seen in New York, where he attended Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato’s Brooklyn performance.

Holmes has been working on the post-production phase of an episode for The Kennedys: After Camelot, which the actress directed.

Adding to the speculation that Foxx and Katie are dating, one of his friends, Claudia Jordan, described the couple as “very happy.” However, she subsequently sought to retract her remark and insisted that she “misspoke.”

The rumors that Holmes and Jamie are together, however, continue to swirl. They began in 2013 when the couple was spotted dancing during a charity event.

In addition to her career and those reports that she is dating Foxx, Katie stays busy with parenting her daughter, Suri Cruise. The 10-year-old’s father is Holmes’ former husband, Tom Cruise.

Although Katie has maintained her silence about Jamie, she has increasingly posted photos of Suri. The actress recently turned to Instagram to show off her mini-me daughter’s cute style. Suri turned wings into a fashion accessory in the most adorable way, pointed out In Style.

Pink, purple, and blue wings complete with magical glitter shine as the 10-year-old enhances her charm by striking a pose against a patterned background. Holmes is known for her style, and Suri shows she’s following in her mother’s footsteps in a precious floral frock.

Holmes also shared photos last month in which Suri showed off a flower crown during her visit to her mother’s set for The Kennedys: After Camelot.

Why share her private life when it comes to her daughter but refuse to respond to the rumors that she is dating Foxx? Katie isn’t the only one who wants to avoid publicity for her romance. According to ET ‘s source, when Claudia Jordan confirmed that Holmes and Foxx were dating, it caused major drama.

“Jamie is extremely mad that she told everyone,” revealed the source. “She’s in panic mode and doing major backpedaling.”

Moreover, ET has confirmation from multiple insiders that Holmes and Foxx are dating. But the celebrities share the desire to avoid the spotlight.

“I like to stay quiet, you know, with anyone that I’m dating; that I’m really, really dating,” said Jamie firmly. “If there’s somebody that you’re dating, the worst thing you can do is let that [points at camera] touch you.”

Katie has also expressed her desire to avoid being known for her romantic relationships. After the constant publicity when she was with Tom Cruise, Holmes revealed that she wants to be known for her professional success, not her personal life.

“I don’t want that moment in my life to define me, to be who I am,” emphasized Katie. “I don’t want that to be what I’m known as. I was an actor before, an actor during and an actor now.”
