Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx went public with their relationship last month after being romantically linked to one another for about four years.
As fans will recall, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were photographed together in Malibu, California, where they were seen enjoying a stroll on the beach after acting clueless for years in regard to their super secret romance.
Although Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx didn’t hesitate to showcase their admiration for one another as they held hands in September, they haven’t been seen together since and a new report claims Holmes is ready to return to the spotlight with her man.
“Katie is ready to go more public with her relationship, but Jamie is trying to keep things quiet and that is disappointing to her,” a source explained to Hollywood Life on October 27.
According to the insider, Katie Holmes is completely in love with Jamie Foxx and doesn’t want to hide their romance anymore. The outlet also said that Holmes’ daughter, 11-year-old Suri Cruise, is a huge fan of her potential stepfather, which makes the secretive nature of their relationship even more frustrating for the actress.
Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were first linked to one another in 2013, one year after Holmes and her former husband, Tom Cruise, ended their six-year marriage.
The Hollywood Life insider went on to reveal that Jamie Foxx has been a major part of Katie Holmes’ life in recent years but aside from their recent walk on the beach, they have kept their relationship nearly completely unconfirmed. Although Holmes and Foxx were caught together a handful of times throughout the past few years, they always denied they were dating when asked about their romance.
As for the future, Katie Holmes has reportedly made it clear to her boyfriend that they no longer have any reason to hide their relationship and wants to feel free to go out to dinner and to other events without hesitation. Meanwhile, Jamie Foxx is reportedly on edge about their relationship receiving too much publicity and wants to continue to protect their privacy.
“She has lived a secretive life long enough, she needs to feel free again,” the insider added.
Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx’s first outing together took place in The Hamptons in 2013, where they reportedly were seen dancing together among other celebrity guests.
