Kate Hudson reunited with her ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy to celebrate their son’s fifth birthday, according to Us Magazine. The actress and Bellamy took their son Bing to see the new Harry Potter and the Cursed Child play.

However, the trio wasn’t alone. Kate Hudson also took her first child, 12-year-old Ryder Robinson, to see the new play about the wizard boy at the Palace Theatre in London before the official premiere.

Bing really couldn’t ask for a better birthday as he spent it with his mom and dad. And in addition to that, he got to see the new Harry Potter stage show in one of the best theaters in London. In his Instagram photo posted on the day of Bing’s birthday, Bellamy is seen posing with Bing, Kate Hudson, and her firstborn, Ryder, from her marriage to Chris Robinson.

What’s so spectacular about Bing’s birthday is that the boy got to see Harry Potter ‘s new story before anyone else as the official premiere is scheduled for July 30. Kate Hudson and her ex-fiancé also gifted Bing a Star Wars BB-8 toy and a delicious Tony Hawk skateboard cake.

And what modern birthday would be complete without fun videos and pictures? Kate Hudson captured a few videos for her Snapchat, in which the family is seen playing with the Star Wars toy.

That same day, Kate Hudson shared an Instagram photo with herself and Bing chilling around in bed. In the caption, the Almost Famous actress said, “five years flew by.”

“And with a snap of my fingers, five years flew by. Happy birthday Bingo #MorningSnuggle #5YearsOldToday.”

The day after the birthday, it didn’t look as if Kate Hudson had been partying all night, celebrating her son’s birthday, according to the Daily Mail. The 37-year-old actress, who looks stunning on all red carpet events, has proven that she can look as magnificent in her everyday life.

Kate Hudson was photographed coming out of member’s club, Shoreditch House, in London along with her firstborn, Ryder.

Kate Hudson and her ex-fiancé, Muse singer Matt Bellamy, started dating in early 2010 and announced their engagement in April 2011. But in late 2014, they broke up and have remained on friendly terms ever since.

It also helps to keep their relationship together that Kate Hudson and Bellamy co-own their wine company called Hudson Bellamy Wines, which they built in 2011.

Kate Hudson has recently shared a heart-wrenching poem about the recent fatal police shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, as well as the brutal killing of five police officers, according to Entertainment Weekly. The 37-year-old actress couldn’t keep silent about the incidents and expressed her desire for change in the United States with her poem.

In the poem, Kate Hudson expresses both pain and hope, referencing such incidents as Orlando’s gay nightclub massacre, the killings of five officers in Dallas, the killings of Sterling and Castile, as well as the increased number of terror attacks around the world.

“These last few months have brought so much sadness. From Alton Sterling, Philando Castile, Orlando shooting, Dallas, to terrorist attacks of late Bangladesh, Istanbul, Baghdad, Somalia.”

Kate Hudson also noted that there is violence like this around the world every day, whether it is reported or not reported. The Almost Famous actress also said that it’s overwhelming that there is “such hatred” and “senseless killing.”

And the reason she wrote the poem is because she wants to figure out the world she lives in today.

“When I can’t make sense of things I just start to write. I don’t usually share my writing but I felt a desire to put this out there. Peace.”
