Kanye West rocked a leather skirt last night at the 12-12-12 benefit concert for Hurricane Sandy victims.
The rapper, who is also very involved in the world of fashion , took the stage in leggings and a black Givenchy leather skirt. West performed songs like Gold Digger and Touch the Sky during the set but most people were too distracted by his skirt to notice the performance.
One Twitter user wrote : “Kanye must have swapped suitcases with Kim Kardashian.”
Another added: “Maybe a new item from the Kardashian collection ?”
Kanye’s skirt even got its own Twitter account by the end of the night.
@Kanyeskirt wrote: “For those of you wishing to purchase a similar garment, go to your local Scottish S&M outlet … It seems I’m more popular than @ kanyewest ‘s actual performance. Maybe i should think of going solo.”
Kanye hasn’t commented on his wardrobe choice yet but his reality show girlfriend did comment on her boyfriend’s performance.
Kim wrote: “Watching the 12.12.12 concert for Sandy Relief! Can’t wait to see my baby perform … Awwwwwwww I’m so excited right now!!!!! He looks so cute!!”
