Justin Bieber Dreadlocks To Be Sold For Charity Amid Hot New Hookup: Selena Gomez Supports Taylor Swift Post-Split

Justin Bieber recently disposed of his dreadlocks, buzzing them off for a chic new style. But now those dreadlocks are set to go to a good cause, with a plan to auction them off for charity, according to the New York Daily News.

Florido Basallo is Bieber’s hair stylist, and he revealed the news that although the singer shaved off those dreadlocks weeks ago, the locks are still available. Not revealing which charity will receive the money just yet, the plan is to sell the shaved-off dreads and donate the proceeds.

Would you like to buy Justin Bieber’s dreadlocks? You may have a chance.

“We still have the dreads though,” confirmed Basallo. “Now we might try to sell them for a charity.”

The cost of the dreadlocks is not yet known, and it’s also not certain whether Beliebers would leap for the chance to purchase the shaved-off tresses. His new hairstyle earned slams from many when he flaunted his buzz cut in April.

“Justin Bieber didn’t get the memo that white people look stupid with dreadlocks,” tweeted Breakfast Club radio host Charlamagne Tha God.

Some slashed the style, while others contended that he had appropriated a hairdo linked to African-American culture. In response, the 22-year-old pop singer defended his original decision.

“[People say] you want to be black and all that stuff, I’m like, ‘Its just my hair.'”

However, the reason Justin shaved off his hair was just for a change, according to Basallo, who claims that the backlash did not play a role in the buzz cut.

“The haircut was his idea,” clarified the stylist. “He wore them for maybe a month and then wanted to change up his look. Not to mention his hair was bleached and was already fragile, plus it was knotted and teased from the dreads.”

Justin Bieber trieid to go incognito recently – and failed.

Now that he’s got a new haircut, Bieber also has a new approach to dating: Go incognito, according to People.

Despite that plan of staying under-the-radar, Justin’s hot new hookup with Rita Ora was spotted. The Biebs did his best at going incognito at the reopening of Los Angeles hotspot Warwick, but he didn’t succeed, according to the account of his hookup that an insider gave to People.

Justin initially showed up alone at the Hollywood club, but then 25-year-old Ora joined him about an hour later, revealed the insider.

“They gave each other a huge hug and caught up over cocktails. They were very animated with each other and had a great time.”

Still trying to stay incognito amid the hookup, when Bieber left with Ora, he hid his face, zipping up his sweatshirt and hood.

Adding to the hookup report, TMZ revealed that Justin and Ora took off in the “Sorry” singer’s SUV at 2 a.m. Bieber attempted to stay hidden in his hoodie.

They headed for an early morning meal, and what happened after that remains unknown.

Where does this leave Bieber’s on-again-off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez? She’s too busy supporting her best friend Taylor Swift to worry about what Justin is doing.

Heartbroken after her breakup from Calvin Harris, the singer is leaning on Gomez, who in turn is focused on helping her pal get through the pain, according to Hollywood Life’s insider.

“Selena has been an absolute rock for Taylor since the split,” shared the insider. “She’s definitely been trying to keep her spirits up by texting inspirational messages and calling whenever she can.”

Among her suggestions, Justin’s ex-girlfriend thinks that Taylor can benefit by spending time with her mother, and that means heading home to Nashville. And an additional purr-fect suggestion? Spend time with her beloved cats, who give her “comfort and love” with their purrs.

“In Nashville…[Swift] can get the support of her mother,” pointed out the insider. “She also knows how much comfort and love her cats bring her.”
