Goodness gracious and great bags of Bertie Bott’s beans, J.K. Rowling has launched a mysterious new website- Pottermore.com .

While we currently have no clue what the site will house- rumors guess everything from a Harry Potter branded smartphone to a social networking site themed around the famous Wizard from Hogwarts- we do have a clue what it will not be.

According to Rebbeca Salt, spokeswoman for the famous Harry Potter author, the site is “not a new book” and “not directly related” to the final Potter movie, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2,” which comes out on July 15th.

A privileged few have been fortunate enough to enjoy a sneak peek of the new site, and have described it as

“breathtaking in scope, detail and sheer beauty.”

It does us no good however, as their lips are so tightly sealed, regarding details of Pottermore , that even an ‘Alohomora’ couldn’t open them.

According to the countdown clock linked from the Pottermore website , the official reveal will go down Thursday, June 23 at 2 AM.

In the meantime, check out the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Trailer below:
