Jill Duggar is in the throes of autumn and motherhood. That means it’s time for her to upload a photo album on her family blog of her baby Israel to celebrate turning a year and a half. She has been continuously giving her fans updates on her baby boy on her blog and Instagram, choosing not to focus on some of the darker issues that surround the Duggars.
Josh Duggar has been trying to bury the fact that he was caught on the infamous extramarital affair website Ashley Madison and the allegations of child molestation, but his scandal reared its ugly head again.
He was recently sued again for his blunders on Ashley Madison, this time for using pictures that weren’t his own .
“Matthew McCarthy, the Los Angeles-based DJ and photographer whose photos Duggar used on his Ashley Madison profile, is seeking undisclosed damages,” reports People . “In the filing, McCarthy claims that Duggar’s wrongful, “extreme and outrageous” use of his image on Ashley Madison, Twitter and OkCupid profile has resulted in loss of work as well as harassment.”
Despite this case getting coverage on multiple new outlets, Jill and her sisters Jessa and Jinger have been putting on a brave face. They have been resuming their normal lives, celebrating various milestones in life and counting their blessings.
For Jill Duggar, celebrating her baby boy’s year-and-a-half birthday was important for her, so she uploaded an autumn-inspired photo album of Israel on her family blog featuring her husband, Derick Dillard.
The photos include baby Israel eating his first meal by himself, posing next to a pumpkin, and looking like a hipster in his hand-me-downs.
But Jill has not focused on other important news going through the Duggar family. While she curtly celebrated Jinger getting engaged to Jeremy Vuolo, she has not written or posted about it much, choosing to focus on her budding family.
Speaking of budding family, she also congratulated her younger sister Jessa for getting pregnant for the second time. While Jill may be feeling the burn of the fact that her baby sister beat her to the punch, she may take consolation in the fact that she spends more time doing mission work with her husband in El Salvador.
Jessa is over the moon with this good news.
“We are overjoyed to announce that Spurgeon has a new title in life as ‘big brother’,” Jessa wrote on her family blog. “We are so thankful that God is adding to our family. 2017 is shaping up to be a wonderful year already and we know Spurgeon will do a great job in his new role. Having Spurgeon has been such a wonderful blessing and we cannot wait to see the face of this sweet new baby (or babies!).”
In general, the Duggars are expanding as a family . Jill and Jessa’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, recently took on the responsibility of being the guardian for one of their relatives’ children.
“[O]n Aug. 31, the former 19 Kids and Counting stars Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, were granted temporary guardianship of an 8-year-old boy — making that their 20th child,” reports In Touch Weekly . “The 8-year-old boy is the son of Michelle’s niece, Rachel Hutchins, who’s been struggling to care for him. Rachel, 23, is homeless, unemployed and has had a slew of financial setbacks and problems with the law.”
