Jax Taylor And Brittany Cartwright Face Relationship Drama On ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Season 5, Begin Filming Spinoff [Report]

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright went through their fair share of hardships during Vanderpump Rules Season 4, and Season 5 doesn’t appear to be much different.

In the sneak peek trailer for the upcoming season of the Bravo TV reality series, Taylor and Cartwright are seen going through a couple of tough times, one of which features the couple at odds over Cartwright’s alleged lack of a career.

As fans will recall, Cartwright moved from Kentucky to Los Angeles during the filming of the fourth season of Vanderpump Rules. After she did so, she was turned down for a spot on the staff at SUR Lounge, where Jax Taylor serves as a bartender. After speaking to Lisa Vanderpump, who owns the restaurant, Cartwright moved on to Hooters, where she landed a job as a waitress.

Although Cartwright ultimately left her job at Hooters and began working with her Vanderpump Rules co-stars during Season 5, there appeared to be tension between her and Jax Taylor due to her lack of motivation in the trailer.

“Why don’t I sit here and tell your mother what I’ve done for you since you’ve been here sitting on the couch for a year while I take care of you,” Jax Taylor tells Cartwright during one scene from the trailer.

During another scene, he and Cartwright are seen in a screaming match over something he said.

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright experienced relationship drama fairly soon after moving in together last year, and at one point, Taylor admitted to feeling a bit overwhelmed with their living situation. He even seemed to be excited to go to Hawaii without her despite the fact that he was facing a theft trial at the time.

After filming Season 4, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright opted for a bigger apartment and seemed to be getting along great, at least up until filming began on Season 5. Luckily, however, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are now in a much better place, which is clear on social media, and are considering adding a second dog to their family.

“We are possibly getting another puppy this week,” Jax Taylor announced on Twitter on November 6.

Jax Taylor and his girlfriend already have one Yorkshire Terrier, named Kingsley, who is often seen on both of their social media pages.

In other Jax Taylor news, he and Brittany Cartwright have reportedly landed their own spinoff series. Last month, a Radar Online report revealed the couple has allegedly begun filming on the upcoming series, which has yet to be confirmed by Bravo TV or any other network.

“Vanderpump Rules is coming back later this fall, but two cast members are already moving on!” the outlet revealed to readers weeks ago. “Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are filming for their own show in Cartwright’s native Kentucky. The couple met with Bravo execs just last week to discuss their show, and shortly after Cartwright teased that she ‘feels so blessed’ that ‘great things are coming.'”

Weeks ago, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright paid a visit to the Bravo TV studios but did not reveal why they were there. Since then, the couple has been in Kentucky together but remained mum on their potential new show.
