Jason Lee is a father once again. The My Name Is Earl actor and his wife, Ceren Alkac, welcomed a baby boy in Los Angeles on June 16th. The couple decided to name their new son Sonny.
Access Hollywood reports that Sonny was born at 7 lbs., 6 oz.
This is the second child for the couple. Lee and Alkac also have a 3-year-old daughter named Casper.
Lee has a son, 9-year-old Pilot Inspektor, from his previous relationship with Beth Riesgraf.
Lee said :
“My son is nine now and he’s very mature and intelligent and he’s very together. Now we’re buddies, which is just awesome. It’s more like hanging out with a friend but there’s a part of me that misses when he was a little kid….Now it’s like we’re almost equals, which is really cool… But every day he’s grown an inch and he’s just that much more of an adult and I’m really trying to hang on to him being a kid.”
US Weekly reports that Lee and Alkac have been married since July 2008. They renewed their wedding vows last year on 11/11/11.
Lee is best known for his work on My Name Is Earl and various Kevin Smith movies like Mallrats and Chasing Amy. He is currently starring alongside Maya Rudolph, Christina Applegate, and Will Arnett in NBC’s “Up All Night.”
