Is Marion Cotillard Pregnant With Her Second Child? Steamy ‘Allied’ Trailer Hits The Web

Marion Cotillard is reportedly expecting a baby, but when it comes to the father, the actress does not appear to be pregnant with the baby of Brad Pitt.

Since earlier this year, Marion Cotillard and Brad Pitt have been facing allegations of an affair on the set of their World War II flick Allied, but despite the reports, a source claims Pitt is not the father of Cotillard’s second child. Instead, the potential baby’s father is Cotillard’s longtime partner, Guillaume Canet.

“Everyone in Paris is reporting that Marion is having another baby, and she looks absolutely blooming right now,” a source close to Marion Cotillard’s family in Paris revealed to The Mirror on September 21. “She’s said that all she wants to do is to enjoy some quality time with Guillaume and their boy.”

Marion Cotillard, 40, is already mom to five-year-old Marcel, whose father is Canet, and reportedly confirmed to Closer magazine this month that she was expecting another baby.

“[Marion Cotillard] is pregnant!” X17 Online announced on September 20, revealing the French actress confirmed the baby news with a cover story for Closer.

While Marion Cotillard may be expecting a child, she didn’t put her baby bump on display during her appearance at the Toronto Film Festival last week. Instead, she let her pregnant co-star, Lea Seydoux, take the spotlight and kept her baby news to herself, possibly due to her rumored ties to Pitt, whose wife, Angelina Jolie, filed for divorce on Monday.

“Why didn’t Cotillard want to talk about her baby news? Maybe because Brad Pitt’s the dad!” X17 Online suspected. However, at this point, there is no solid evidence claiming any such thing and Cotillard has been with Canet since 2007.

“Reports from Paris say [Marion Cotillard] is due in December. That puts the date of conception in March when she and Brad were filming Allied together in London,” the outlet pointed out. “By April, news was leaking from the set that the two might have been carrying on an affair.”

As for Marion Cotillard and Guillaume Canet, they were last seen together on September 10 with their son in France for an environmental gathering.

In other Marion Cotillard news, the actress’ latest film, Allied, debuted a new trailer on September 20, the same day that her co-star’s split from Jolie was announced.

“Newly single Brad Pitt is kissing another woman – on film that is,” People Magazine reported, along with a clip of the recently-released trailer, which features several steamy scenes between the 52-year-old actor and Marion Cotillard.

In the Robert Zemeckis-directed film, Pitt plays an American intelligence officer who falls for Cotillard’s character, who is a French Resistance fighter, while on a deadly mission in Africa. Later in the film, the pair is seen reuniting in London, where their romance is tested by the ongoing pressures of World War II.

While Marion Cotillard and her partner, Guillaume Canet, have not yet spoken out about the ongoing rumors of her alleged affair with Pitt, they appear to be going strong. That said, a source spoke to the Daily Mail earlier this week and claimed Cotillard had been left absolutely devastated by the reports linking her to Pitt and Jolie’s divorce. The source also claimed Marion Cotillard was “blissfully happy” in her relationship with Canet and had been shocked by the speculation into her on-set interaction with Brad Pitt.
