Insane Clown Posse Unhappy Over Cancelled Halloween Show

Insane Clown Posse are none too pleased about the cancellation of their forthcoming Halloween show, TMZ reports. Although the controversial rap group was ready and willing to kick off their “Hallowicked” show in Detroit, the venue suddenly decided to kick the proposed concert to the curb. Naturally, ICP and their loyal fans aren’t exactly thrilled with the decision.

The concert that was scheduled at the Royal Oak Music Theater was canceled due to the “type of crowd” Insane Clown Posse tends to bring in. Juggalos, a group that was recently singled out by the FBI as a potentially dangerous street gang, is reportedly the reason the venue has decided not to pass on the Halloween show. Not surprisingly, ICP isn’t happy about the decision.

An ICP representative explained to TMZ that the concert was nearly sold out when the Royal Oaks Music Theater unceremoniously pulled the plug on the gig. Although the local police stated that they never forced the venue to cancel the how, they did ask the owners to strongly reconsider hosting “Hallowicked” due to the problems the group’s fans might cause.

Insane Clown Posse might be down for a moment, but they’re certainly not out for the count. Instead of battling the Royal Oaks over the cancellation, the rap duo has moved their concert to the The Fillmore theater in Detroit instead.

This isn’t the first time ICP has locked horns with authorities. Not too long ago, the Federal Bureau of Investigation declared that the group’s fans are nothing more than a gang formed on the streets, a fact that did not settle well with the rappers. As a result, they sued the FBI for classifying their fans as a potential threat.

“You’re trying to grow love in your country and s—,” ICP rapper Shaggy 2 Dope told the Village Voice . “Then the head of your country — the FBI — just turns around and f—ing kicks you in the nuts. How are you supposed to respond to that?”

Do you think Insane Clown Posse fans are potentially dangerous individuals?
