President Donald Trump and his administration are facing backlash once again. This time it is over a controversial Instagram post from The White House’s official account and it was titled “ILLEGAL ALIEN ARRESTED.”

The posts consisted of a mugshot of an undocumented immigrant with some serious allegations. The immigrant was accused of child pornography, r-pe and assault. Critics are now expressing concerns and arguing that this kind of portrayal can damage their reputation, demonize them and build stereotypes.

This situation is nothing new, in fact it is part of a broader pattern that we’ve seen lately. Yes, we are talking about the strict immigration enforcement during President Trump’s second term.

Recently, ICE made headlines when they arrested 2,200 undocumented migrants in a single day.

The increase in arrests was not coincidental but came after pressure from Stephen Miller, who is a Trump adviser. It was Miller who pushed the daily number of arrests to 3,000. This increase in arrests has sparked tensions. Some believe that Trump is targeting individuals who may not even have serious criminal records.

The administration’s tactics also include public displays of arrested individuals with their mugshots. There are images of immigrants being arrested on the White House lawn. They have used social media to disseminate images and videos of deportations. The actions have been criticized by many as attempts to manipulate public opinion and create false narratives.

Ramon Morales-Reyes’s case was one of the most talked about incidents. He was a Mexican immigrant, who was falsely accused of threatening President Trump’s life. Even though he was proved innocent, Morales-Reyes still remains in detention. As he continues to face deportation due to past immigration violations. This case highlights concerns about the administration’s quick dissemination of false information and the potential for innocent individuals.

The Trump administration has also implemented policies like the Laken Riley Act. The act mandates the detention of immigrants who are charged with specific crimes. It also bans travel barring entry from 12 countries. Critics argue that these policies disproportionately affect immigrants and may violate constitutional protections.

Overall, the administration’s approach to immigration enforcement has been characterized by aggressive tactics and a focus on public displays of enforcement actions. While supporters argue that these measures are necessary for national security, critics contend that they perpetuate harmful stereotypes and undermine the rights of immigrants.

After the post made by The White House’s official Instagram account and POTUS, the public haven’t received it well. One commented, “Let’s go ahead and talk about some of the politicians in office who’ve been involved with Jeffery Epstein who should be in jail for the sexual exploitation of young girls.” Another said, “Good thing he wasn’t an American, you’d have him join your administration.”

“We want to have as many people come in as possible, but they have to come in legally.”

However, the name of the accused hasn’t been disclosed to the public. The post consisted of a graphic image of the man and the second slide had his image with a couple of cops arresting him. The post was captioned;

🔴 Aggravated rape of a child by force
🔴 Possession of child pornography
🔴 Dissemination of obscene material

He also has a prior arrest for:

The Department of Homeland Security was also tagged in the post.
