Iggy Azalea is making it pretty clear that she regrets getting ASAP Rocky’s name tattoed on her finger while the two rappers were in a relationship. Gossip Cop reports that Iggy has been trying to get the tattoo removed from her finger but the process is proving to be way more difficult than she expected.
Iggy, who started the tattoo removal process last December, tweeted: “Its all fun & games getting dumb sh*t tatted under the premise youll ‘just get it lasered off when im older’ untill u actually have to do it [sic]”
“Its like getting a second degree burn over and over and over again every few weeks. reconsider kids. reconsider! hahaha.”
The Australian rapper had “LIVE,” “LOVE,” and “ASAP” tattooed on the insides of her middle finger, ring finger, and pinky finger. The problem with that is that ASAP and Iggy broke up and now she’s engaged to Nick Young, a basketball player on the Los Angeles Lakers.
According to E! Online , Iggy got an “X” tatted on ASAP’s name when the two split up but now that she’s settling down with Nick Young, she’s looking for a more permanent solution. In December, 2014, when she first started getting the tattoos removed, Azalea had this to say to Billboard.
“Everything gets so scrutinized now. We have so many outlets that it’s hard sometimes to just be normal. Right now I’m getting [my A$AP Rocky] tattoo removed and I know there’s seven paparazzi outside taking pictures of me having a conversation with you and I would prefer to do that in private. But someone’s going to sell these pictures to a blog so we can talk about it on Twitter.”
Despite the headache of tattoo removal, Iggy seems to be moving full speed ahead with her wedding plans. She and Nick Young got engaged in June and have already picked a date, Iggy says. Though the rapper is known for stepping out in some pretty sexy outfits, she confessed that she’ll be going the more traditional route for her wedding.
“Hmmmm I’m def wearing white or ivory,” she tweeted to a fan who had asked about her plans for the big day. “I do want a pretty traditional style wedding.”She’s even decided who she wants as her wedding singer: Demi Lovato. That’s no surprise since Demi and Iggy Azalea recently collaborated on a song and performed it at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.
