We get that Hugh Hefner is 85-years-old and lives a hard partying lifestyle (or at least lives around a hard partying lifestyle, but honestly the number of internet rumors about his demise are out of control, so much so that one day he’s going to pass away and we’ll all think it’s a hoax. Hef had to take to the internet on Tuesday to announced that he’s still alive and kicking.
Hef tweeted:
“The rumors of my death are, as Mark Twain observed in a similar situation, greatly exaggerated. I’m very much alive and kicking.”
The rumor started when rumors circulated that Hefner died of a heart attack on July 11th
Hugh followed his first message by tweeting:
“I’m lying in bed next to Shera Bechard with a big smile on my face, reading tweets about my unexpected demise.”
So there you have it, not only is he not dead, he’s laying in bed next to a 24-year-old bombshell.
