Gwen Stefani Using Blake Shelton To Boost Tour Ticket Sales, Singer Fears Performing To Empty Crowd

Tickets to Gwen Stefani’s forthcoming tour are selling poorly, so much that the singer is asking Blake Shelton to help save the day by promoting Stefani’s concerts on his social media pages, it has been alleged.
According to In Touch, Stefani couldn’t wait to head out on tour with her close pal Eve in support of Gwen’s new album This Is What the Truth Feels Like. The ageing pop star has not been on tour in years, so the idea of just returning to what she loves doing the most was already getting her excited.
But sources allege that the tour hasn’t been selling well. Despite the fact that tickets have been on sale for over a month, ticket promoters fear that Stefani and Eve could end up performing to a crowd that will only fill half of the venues the duo plan on performing at.

Because of this, Stefani hopes that her romance with Blake can help boost those sales, allegedly wanting to ask the 39-year-old whether he’d be kind enough to promote her concert dates on his social media pages to get the excitement going.
“Gwen’s planning on asking him to post ticket sales information on his social media platforms in hopes that it will generate some buzz. It’s a blow to Gwen, who had hoped that appearing as a coach on The Voice, and cozying up to the country singer, would help her appeal to a much younger audience.”
Touring is Gwen’s world, the insider continued. Having another successful run out on the road is what the singer strives for, and if she can get the help of her boyfriend to make the concert a successful run, then she will do that.
Stefani is aware of the fact that the music industry has drastically changed since her previous album, The Sweet Escape, arrived back in 2006. The nine-year hiatus has evidently hurt her career to the point where it’s now being alleged that only the help of Blake Shelton can potentially save the singer’s tour.

If the 46-year-old “Don’t Speak” hitmaker doesn’t find a way to make the upcoming tour a success, sources fear that the Voice mentor could potentially scrap the project entirely. This would merely be down to the fact that the production costs of handling a tour of its size would see no profit when the shows are half-empty, insiders reveal.
Had Gwen Stefani decided to hit the road with her current beau Blake Shelton, fans of the singer are convinced that the mother-of-three would not have found herself in this position. A Blake-Gwen tour would have done well thanks to the publicity the twosome draw in with the tabloids on a weekly basis, but Stefani touring on her own seems to be a completely different thing, one user on Twitter argued.

The Twitter account holder would go on to compare Blake and Gwen to Jay Z and Beyonce, whose joint-tour in 2014 made the couple an astounding $110 million from just 21 dates.
Do you think Blake being on tour would’ve boosted the sales if the twosome had decided on touring together? Or better yet, do you agree with Gwen that social media promotion on Blake’s social media pages will get his fans interested enough to buy tickets to her shows?
