Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton recently flaunted their affection for each other while performing their “Go Ahead And Break My Heart” duet. After the lovebirds crooned their adoration, Blake headed off to the iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles, where he dished on his track, “I Bet You Still Think About Me.”
Fans promptly concluded that Shelton is sending a secret message to his former wife Miranda Lambert after showcasing his adoration of Stefani, according to E! News . But while Blake is eager to gush about his love for Gwen, he’s much more cautious when it comes to discussing Lambert directly.

Even if Shelton had confessed that he was throwing shade at Miranda, a source told E! News that Lambert understands the concept of creating country music by using emotional moments from the past to come up with ideas for lyrics.
“Miranda is aware of what country artists do when creating new music,” pointed out the insider. “She is not upset at the lyrics because she knows it’s just how it goes, especially as a country artist.”
As for what Stefani’s country music superstar boyfriend had to say about his song, Shelton clarified that he believes every breakup contains some element of remorse.
“At some point, whether you go through a divorce or a breakup…you kind of go into the sad part of it where it’s just like, ‘Gosh, how come that didn’t work out?’ And that’s what this song is about…I bet you miss me a little bit. It’s a sad song.”
But there’s nothing sad when it comes to how Blake feels about moving onto his romance with Gwen. And although Stefani started her relationship with Shelton just months after splitting from Gavin Rossdale, it took Miranda longer to find a new love.
Now that she has, Lambert is happy with her new boyfriend Anderson East.
“Miranda and Anderson are talking about moving in with each other,” revealed the source. “It’s getting pretty serious. They want children and have shared their thoughts with each other on that subject.”
