When 2015 began, Gwen Stefani had no idea that she would have to suffer through the shock that her then-husband Gavin Rossdale had been cheating on her for three years with the family nanny. And what she now calls a “horrible, crazy year” didn’t stop with that revelation. Stefani also had to endure a divorce from Gavin, which she admits now was extremely painful and something she never saw coming. But despite the emotional agony that she suffered after discovering that Rossdale had been enjoying a hot hook-up for months and months, she’s since found happiness with Blake Shelton.
Most recently, Gwen and Blake decided to take a trip to wine country. And a jug of wine, a loaf of bread, and Blake Shelton definitely provided a romantic touch for Stefani, reported ET Online .
The winery visit came just one day after Shelton and Stefani were spotted enjoying an Arizona football game. Gwen posted a photo showing her enjoying the visit to the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, where she and Blake cheered on the game between the Arizona Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers.
The Arizona Cardinals apparently were thrilled, because they tweeted a photo of the pair.
From the football field to the vines apparently seemed like a great idea, because Gwen and Blake popped up again enjoying the wine in Buellton, California. The 30-minute Mosby Winery tour gave the cute couple a chance to sample all types of Italian wines, such as a Pinot Grigio.
An insider told ET that Shelton and Stefani were charming to the employees at the winery, describing The Voice coaches as “very happy together.” The Mosby Winery shared its appreciation for the free PR given by the celebrity couple’s visit.
“Mosby Winery had the distinct privilege of hosting Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton along with 2 of their friends today! What an absolute treat!” exclaimed the Facebook post of appreciation. “They were so wonderful, sweet & just great people… Thank you so much for visiting & I hope to see you again!”
With all that joy flowing for the flirty hot couple, Gwen still hasn’t quite recovered from the trauma she experienced over Gavin. Stefani even wrote a new song about the emotions she experienced following her discovery that Rossdale had been cheating, reported Us Weekly .
“[It was a] horrible, crazy year,” said Gwen of her divorce, which was “completely not in the plan at all.”
As for the telling lyrics of her song “Used to Love You,” Stefani makes it clear that she feels Gavin pushed her too far.
“What, you just pushed me too far / I guess nobody taught you / Nobody taught you how to love… Never thought this would happen / I let it sink in, you’re gone.”
Blake praised Gwen for taking her emotions and using them to channel her creativity.
“Right when she wrote the song she was like, ‘My gosh, I put exactly what I wanted to say into a song,’” revealed Shelton. “Sometimes it’s hard to put it exactly how you want to say it when it’s that personal to you, and so she was so excited that she got that out, and then it ends up being this smash song that it’s turning into. She deserves it.”
As for how Stefani found out about Gavin’s three years of cheating with Mindy Mann, the family nanny, Gwen didn’t have a clue until she discovered nude pictures and sexually explicit texts that Rossdale and Mindy had exchanged, as the Inquisitr reported.
The iPad associated with Rossdale’s phone betrayed the cheating couple because a different nanny came across the explicit exchange and informed Stefani.
Rossdale and Stefani completed the divorce proceedings in October. They have three little boys and have plans to co-parent with shared custody of 9-year-old Kingston, 7-year-old Zuma, and the baby Apollo, who is just 21 months.
And for Gavin, the hot hook-up between Blake Shelton and his former wife is making him regret what he did, according to Hollywood Life .
“Looking at photos on social media of how happy Gwen and Blake look, is making it even more difficult for Gavin to swallow the truth — she has moved on 100% and there is no room for reconciliation,” a source told Hollywood Life . “Gavin is full of regrets, thinking maybe he could have done something to save the relationship. He never thought in a million years that she would have moved on so quickly without him. It’s like he doesn’t even exist in her world anymore.”
