The Google Nexus One didn’t have a very long shelf life at Sprint (zero days). According to recent reports the CDMA version of Google’s first ever device was canned, in it’s place will be the EVO 4G.

Made by the same manufacturer the HTC EVO 4G offers a far superior design/form, the ability to sell the device outside of the Google store and 4G data (Wi-Max) connectivity on a large 4.3 inch-display.

The EVO 4G also features two cameras (backside and front facing) one of which is 8MP, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, HDMI output and the ability to shoot videos and upload them directly to the web, along with various other HTC and Google Android options.

You can pick up the new Smartphone sometime this Summer. [ via Engadget]
