Google Maps version 6.7 for Android has arrived and its full of big new features that make it a must download or upgrade for all Google Android users. For example when viewing a map you can now pull down a list that includes nearby offers and you can have those offers automatically plotted on your Google Map via your Android device.
Not only do users receive offers, they see different types of specials since as digital coupons that can be immediately used and Groupon type offers that can be purchased in advance.
Working closely with local deals the program even allows users to save specials in the “My Offers” screen under the main menu, making it easy to take care of specials while they last.
One of the apps biggest new features in Google Maps 6.7 is the ability to use walking directions. The new offering was tested last year at various airport locations, malls and several businesses throughout the United States and Japan, an option that can now be used by all Google Android map users. While not all locations currently allow for Google Maps indoor walking directions most large malls and airports in the United States are programmed into the application.
The final new option is Google Business Photos. As the name suggests users can receive panoramic views inside of select businesses, examining 360 degree views such as you would using Google Street View.
Google Maps 6.7 for Android is 100% free to use and enjoy plus it’s available now via Google Play.
