Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are back on after a brief split weeks ago, and over the weekend, the 21-year-old model showcased her support for the singer with a Malik-inspired outfit.
As she landed in Los Angeles from New York City, where she was seen spending time with friends and fellow models Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin, Gigi Hadid was photographed wearing a black jacket with her boyfriend’s name on it.
“[Gigi Hadid] had quite a busy week hanging out with fellow supermodels Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin in New York. But on Saturday evening, Gigi Hadid opted to keep things low-key as she arrived back in Los Angeles, while making sure to show off her affections for boyfriend Zayn Malik,” the Daily Mail revealed to readers on June 26. “The smitten 21-year-old Victoria’s Secret model wore a black bomber jacket that was emblazoned with her faraway beau’s name across the back, written in Arabic.”
Along with her jacket, Gigi Hadid wore a white t-shirt and grey jeans, which she paired with dark sunglasses and black boots.

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik began dating in November of last year, just weeks after Hadid split from Joe Jonas, and in early April, the couple made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala in New York City. But while Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik appeared to be picture-perfect on the red carpet, their relationship was plagued by rumors of an impending split just weeks later.
“During her birthday they were fighting,” an insider told E! News earlier this month, revealing the couple had “broken up and got back together a few times” in recent weeks.
“Zayn and Gigi did break up, but they can likely get back together tomorrow. It’s all very unclear what’s going on between them now,” the source added of Gigi Hadid’s up and down relationship with the former One Direction singer. “They been having some issues lately that involved communication and getting along. Gigi is really sad about this, though, and in a way would like to work it out. It’s more about that constant contact with Zayn that she misses and they did get very close.”
Less than 2 weeks later, a People Magazine source confirmed the couple was back on and working on their communication after Gigi Hadid reportedly caught Malik “in a handful of lies.”
“[Gigi Hadid] gave it to him, and now he’s determined to prove himself to her,” the magazine’s source explained. “Everything’s good at the moment, but things could change overnight. Zayn is really going to need to continue to prove himself to her. Otherwise, she may not stick around.”

Now, however, a source claims Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have quit working on their relationship and are instead focusing on the positive aspects of their romance.
“[Gigi Hadid] has put all their problems on the back-burner. Watching her mother battle Lyme disease taught Gigi that life is too precious to sweat the small stuff,” a source told Britain’s Grazia magazine, via XPose on June 26. “All the trust issues she had are pushed to the back of her mind; she wants to be there for him.”
Gigi Hadid has been extremely busy with her modeling career in recent weeks, but luckily for Malik, she’s made time for their relationship and the couple continues to spend time together in New York City.
