Although George Clooney and his barrister wife Amal Clooney do their best to stay quiet about their personal lives and anything not having to do with George’s Hollywood roles or Amal’s latest human rights defense case, the couple always manages to find themselves the subject of tabloid headlines.

Most recently, it was Amal reportedly being jealous of George’s relationship with longtime pal Cindy Crawford that was all over the cover pages. Hof Mag relayed the details behind this rumor.

“[I]t is being speculated that the human rights lawyer is actually fed up with her husband’s relationship with Gerber and Crawford. It also noted that she could not get along well with the model. Adding fuel to the fire, the webloid stated that she married George Clooney so she could get attention. She allegedly wanted to be recognized not only as a wife of a Hollywood actor but also ‘one of the biggest’ celebrity attorneys across the globe.”

However, such ludicrous news has been debunked as complete falsity.

As Mobile & Apps states, one other bit of gossip that has cropped up involves the manner in which onlookers view George in relation to his accomplished and stunning wife, Amal . Media members have reportedly been referring to Clooney as the “trophy husband” to the barrister, and the Hail, Caesar! actor is apparently not impressed.

The account that led to this label involved the Clooneys being spotted on a ride on their motorcycle and a blank expression on the face of Amal, which was read by onlookers as “the exact moment she realized she settled” kind of gaze. The speculation that Amal was mulling over those very thoughts came from a report within New York Magazine. The publication noted that she seemed to look “irritated and bored” while her husband was “all smiles.”

The publication also relayed that the beauty simply went on the ride just to appease her husband, yet looked uncomfortable the entire time. Though seemingly uncomfortable, Amal still brought her impeccable sense of fashion to the occasions while wearing a Stella McCartney wedge shoes.

Although this instance that Amal looked slightly uneasy may imply that she is not fond of motorcycles and was being a good sport for her husband, it is outrageous to put a spin on such a situation to say that it is because Amal wants out of the marriage. If the barrister is doing something for her husband that she isn’t entirely fond of, it more likely implies that she’s smitten and wants to stick by his side, not that she feels she has settled.

It’s been reported that the 38-year-old attorney was a relative unknown before she began dating her now-husband, 55, in 2014. George has by times been referred to as Amal’s “trophy husband.” The publication states how the couple’s fairy-tale beginning of their union has seemed to have continued on, despite the rumors that suggest the pair are not entirely smitten with one another anymore.

“The couple’s marriage began like a fairytale when they tied the knot in a star-studded wedding in Venice almost two years ago. From then on, Amal Alamuddin has been by George Clooney’s side in each and every movie premier, red carpet event, charity fundraisers and a lot more.”

Despite these claims that state George and Amal may not be the best fit, the star couple is set to celebrate their anniversary this month. The two are actually quite similar in their beliefs on critical matters and world issues. The two have been ongoing advocates for the refugees and even spoke with and applauded Angela Merkel, chancellor of Germany, for her “open doors policy” which would allow refugees into the nation openly.
